Medical Malpractice: Misdiagnosis of Thyroid Cancer
October 2018
Our client had a lump on her neck. This lump was biopsied and sent to the pathologist for diagnosis. It was inaccurately diagnosed as a metastasis from a cancerous thyroid. As a result, the client's thyroid was mistakenly removed. After the surgery, the mistake was discovered, as the thyroid was free of cancer. The case resolved for a confidential amount.
