Medical Malpractice: Failure To Timely Diagnose Lung Cancer
March 2019
Jim represented a patient who originally had a small lung mass that was visible on a chest x-ray. The client brought a claim asserting that her physicians failed to follow up on this mass, and they failed to act on information, including additional x-rays, showing that that mass was growing. By the time the mass was biopsied, the client had developed Stage IV lung cancer. Sadly, the client succumbed to the cancer. The case was settled for a confidential amount.
